Hi! I’m Clair, the creator of Plants and Provisions. Several years ago, I found myself in a poor state of health. I was exhausted all the time, and lifelong issues that I thought were insignificant, like eczema and headaches, were becoming bigger and more significant by the day. One day on a whim, I went to a yoga class with some friends, and a felt a huge shift within myself. Through movement, and turning inward, I was able to better connect with my body. I started experimenting with nutrition and holistic healing modalities. Once I began to see major changes for the better, I decided to enroll in formal studies at the CommonWealth Center for Holistic Herbalism. I completed their Introductory and Advanced Apprenticeships, and continued on for a year of Clinical Rotations. Now I take the tools I have learned, and put them into practice by teaching others how to take charge of their own health. I am now part of the faculty at the CommonWealth Center, and teach herbal and movement workshops in the community. In my spare time I love wandering in the forest with my pup, practicing yoga, road trips, singing off-key, and cooking with friends.
